Expertise
Our expertise covers architectural projects from feasibility studies to completion. We work in different scales and typologies, particularly in housing and publicly accessible spaces such as museums and cultural institutions. We are specialized in the transformation of existing buildings.
In our projects, we emphasize sustainability and the integration of the built environment into its surroundings – in addition to functionality and aesthetics, we plan and build in an ecologically responsible, economically viable and socially manner. We rely on natural, recyclable materials such as wood, clay and straw.
Process-
design
We use a symbiosis of analog and digital technologies throughout the entire project development process. A close collaboration with clients, users and specialist planners is an important component for functional solutions and the success of our projects. Our interdisciplinary approach is characterized by curiosity, responsibility and adaptability.
We support our clients and projects from feasibility studies and concept development through to completion. We take into account the specific contexts, budgets and conditions of each project. A central aspect of our work is designing the built environment with the necessary sensitivity. Our office strives to rethink linear economic models and promote the circular economy.
Art & craft
The office places great emphasis on the selection of durable, sustainable and recyclable materials. We encourage the use of recycled alternatives and the reuse of materials – not only for the sake of sustainability
but also to tell stories and connect the past with the future. Our design approach recognizes the character of a place and strives to unite place and concept. The relationship between
handcrafted and machine-made elements is an important part of our creative process. We pay great attention to detail and strive to create spaces that are both integrated and outstanding.
